VOTING FOR THE LESSER OF TWO EVILS

Dear Friends in Tennessee's 6th U.S. Congressional District;

It seems like all we have to vote for these days are the lesser of two evils.

I remember one time back a few years ago when I voted for the lesser of two evils.

It turned out the candidate I voted for was proven to be a liar and an accused rapist.

He was still the lesser of two evils when you consider his incumbent opponent was accused of hideous dark crimes, that I dare not mention here.

Today they are both good friends, and the country is in one hell of a mess.

I swore back then that I would never vote for the lesser of two evils again.

To prepare for this voting season, I obtained a sample ballot so I would know exactly who's names would be staring at me when I entered the voting booth.

Next I obtained a copy of the "Conservative Index" which is produced by the John Birch Society, to show how our representatives and senators vote in relation to the U.S. Constitution.

Since the race for U.S. Representative is one of the most important, I started with it.

Using the "Conservative Index" I was able to determine that a blindfolded donkey could have voted for the U.S. Constitution more times than my U.S. Representative.

I cruised down the list of candidates on the sample ballot to get the other candidates for the race. In each case I took the name of the candidate and entered it into "Google" search to find their web page. There remained three candidates. One major party candidate and two independents.

I couldn't find a web page for one of the independents, so I wrote him off. That leaves two.

Nothing on the major party candidate's web site gave me any hope he would vote closer to the constitution than the present incumbent.

I moved on to the last candidate on the list, an independent.

As the independents web page appeared, there was this picture of an old crusty character, that looked like he could bite the head off an angus bull. Since looks are not what we are voting for, I continued to look over his site and found out fairly quickly what I was looking for.

He said in so many words, "If it's not constitutional, I won't vote for it."

Well, I have found my man!

If you would like to find your man or woman, I have put links to the "Conservative Index" and a "sample ballot" on the web here;
